Kansas City based, $3 Billion International Food Industry Manufacturer and Distributor seeks a Senior Level iSeries System Administrator for the North American operating companies.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and provide problem resolution of the following Help Desk type of work orders:
• All iSeries printer issues – Writers, out queues, default spool file settings by user and/or job, required printer over rides.
• iSeries user set up tasks.
• JobQ monitoring and movement of jobs.
• Unlocking of iSeries LX orders – Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Shop Orders, and Labor Tickets.
• Maintain iSeries security settings and iSeries third party security software PowerLock.
• Nutech user setup.
• Manage subsystem activity on the iSeries.
• User profile maintenance using iSeries utility “By Invitation Only.”
• Monitor System messages generated throughout the day-sent via Robot alert.
• Maintain iSeries operational software - Robot Schedule, Alert, and Con
• Provide iSeries back up support.
• Provide support on iSeries special projects as directed – environment configuration, environment data refreshes, library management, etc.
• Administrate all third party iSeries software – installation, upgrades, budgeting, insure maintenance is paid.
• Coordinate as required and directed with third party iSeries software and support vendors.
• Provide ongoing coordination and coverage for High Availability solutions.
• Coordinate iSeries hardware, software and ERP LX upgrades as necessary.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years current experience as a Systems Administrator on the iSeries.
